James L. Plappert, CEO

Mr. Plappert has spent over 26 years in the payment systems and merchant bankcard industry. Mr. Plappert is currently CEO and Co-Founder of ACH Payment Solutions Inc. which was founded by Mr. Plappert and other investors in February of 2002.

Mr. Plappert also served as Chief Marketing Officer of Pipeline Data Inc. from October 2005 to February 2009. As a C-Level officer Mr. Plappert helped orchestrate the successful sale and restructuring of the company with The ComVest Group in February 2009. Prior to this Mr. Plappert was a Primary investor in Bank Services Group from September 2002 to May 2003. Bank Services Group was primarily engaged in marketing ATMs on a regional basis through out the Kentucky and southern Indiana/ Ohio area. Mr. Plappert sold his interest to his partners in May 2003.

From January of 2002 to April 2003 Mr. Plappert served as Executive Vice President and equity investor, of First American Payment Systems of Fort Worth, TX. In this capacity Mr. Plappert managed the company’s merger and acquisition activities. Other work history includes Vice Chairman and Board of Director of 1st National Processing Inc. Las Vegas, NV, from April 2000 to August 2001. SVP for National Processing Company (NPC) of Louisville, KY from October 1997 to April 2000 and SVP of Financial Alliance Processing Services Inc., Louisville, KY, from February 1992 to October 1997.

Prior to Financial Alliance, Mr. Plappert spent nine years with PNC/Citizens Fidelity Bank achieving the position of Vice President National Sales. Citizens ranked as 4th largest processor at the time and Mr. Plappert included The Limited Corp, Chili’s Restaurant Corp, Radio Shack, and Steak & Ale / Bennigans among his accounts.

Mr. Plappert currently serves or has served on the ETA’s Industry Relations, Executive, Risk and Member Recognition committees and has held various positions on the ETA board of directors to include President from March 2001- June 2002

Rick Edelen, President

Mr. Edelen has over 22 years of experience in the credit card and merchant processing business.

Julie Sauer, VP Operations and Finance

Ms. Sauer is a corporate accountant that has worked in all aspects of business accounting. Most recently Ms. Sauer was the Accounting Manager for Dreyer’s and Edy’s Grand Ice Creams’ machine division based in Louisville, KY. She oversaw all of the accounting for the manufacturing company and played an integral role in the consolidation of the accounting records to the corporate office in Oakland, CA. Prior to that, Ms Sauer was the CFO and Treasurer for Wimsatt Brothers, Inc., a privately held wholesale building material company headquartered in Louisville, KY. She managed the accounting for the company through their expansion into multiple states. The company was successfully sold and merged with another company. She also has several years of teaching experience of all levels, mainly in the business and accounting fields.

Ms. Sauer received her bachelor of Art’s degree from St. Louis University and her accounting degree from University of Louisville .
